Program Year 2026 Community Development Block Grant Program

The City of Santee is requesting proposals for the use of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding during Program Year 2026 (July 2026 – June 2027). CDBG is a federally funded program administered by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Monies provided through the CDBG program can be used to fund a variety of public improvements and services that benefit low- and moderate-income residents.

Proposals shall be submitted in either hardcopy or electronic format to Brittany Gohres no later than Monday, January 12th, 2026, at 5:00 pm (PST).

Applicants are required to attend the first public hearing on February 11th, 2026, and are invited to attend two other scheduled public meetings. The meetings will be held as part of regular Santee City Council meetings at Santee City Hall in the Council Chamber building at 10601 North Magnolia Avenue, Santee, California.
