Provides water service to residents in Santee, El Cajon, Lakeside, Flinn Springs, Harbison Canyon, Blossom Valley, Alpine, Dehesa and Crest. Also provides water meters and sewer connections for new construction; water fees for new additions or tenant improvements; and reviews plans to ensure construction does not conflict with sewer or water easements.

County Health Department

Conducts food facility inspections; issues public health permits; and regulates retail food safety, public housing, public swimming pools, small drinking water systems, mobile-home parks, onsite wastewater systems, recreational water, underground storage tanks and cleanup oversight, and medical and hazardous materials and waste.

Waste Management

Provides residential trash pickup, organics, and recycling services to Santee.
