Help the City of Santee honor individuals who have served or are currently serving in the United States Armed Forces.
The City of Santee’s Hometown Heroes Banner Program recognizes and honors:
- Santee residents (current or former) and their family members

The program is governed by the Hometown Heroes Banner Program Policy (Amended July 16, 2024), which outlines eligibility and application requirements.
Banner Display
Approved Hometown Heroes are honored with banners displayed along the Veterans Memorial Bridge (Mast Boulevard Bridge, between Pebble Beach Drive and Fanita Parkway).
Honorees are also featured on this webpage.
