Slurry Seal Work October 3-6

Second St. will be slurry sealed on October 3 and 4 between the hours of 8:30am to 3:00pm. Work will occur during school class hours to limit traffic impacts. During the slurry seal process, Second St. will be reduced to 1 way traffic on October 3 and 4. Detour signs and traffic control will be in place to direct traffic around the work zone.
On October 5 and 6, slurry sealing work will occur on the following streets during the hours listed below with a minimum of 1 lane open in each direction.
- Prospect Avenue from Atlas View Dr. to Cuyamaca St.: Saturday and Sunday, 2:00 am to 1:00 pm
- Prospect Avenue from Via de Victoria to Fanita Dr.: Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
- Mission Gorge Road from Olive Ln to Carlton Hills Blvd.: Saturday and Sunday, 2:00 am to 1:00 pm
