Cuyamaca and Mission Gorge Right-Turn Lane Construction

The City of Santee has begun construction on a new dedicated right-turn lane on northbound Cuyamaca Street onto eastbound Mission Gorge Road. To limit impacts to traffic, construction work hours may vary between 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 9:00PM -6:00AM Monday – Friday. Access to the Chevron and Raising Cane's will remain open during construction.
The project includes:
- New concrete curbs, gutters, sidewalks, driveways, and pedestrian ramps
- Street widening and drainage improvements
- Traffic signal modifications
- Signing and striping
- Utility adjustments and other related work
