In 2026, the City of Santee will join communities across the nation in commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States. This once-in-a-generation milestone honors our nation’s history, service, resilience, and shared values.

Each month, families can explore Santee by finding and scanning hidden QR codes at locations and events across the City. Each check-in earns an entry into that month’s opportunity drawing.
Complete more activities to earn additional entries for a chance to win America250-themed prizes. New activities and winners are announced monthly throughout the year.

Santee Hometown Heroes Commemorative Photo | 11:30 a.m. | Santee Veterans Memorial (Corner of Mast Blvd & Fanita Parkway)
Help commemorate this year's Hometown Heroes Banner Program by joining fellow veterans, families, and friends for a special group photo. The photo will be captured by drone and will serve as a lasting tribute to the men and women whose banners proudly line the streets of Santee and the service they have given to our nation.

Following the photo, you're invited to enjoy an afternoon of food, camaraderie, and patriotic fun hosted by Santee VFW Post 9327.

How to Order
