City Holiday Closure: December 24, 2026 – January 1, 2027

Santee City Hall, the Operations Yard, and Fleet Services will be closed Thursday, December 24, 2026, through Friday, January 1, 2027. Offices will reopen Monday, January 4, 2027. Please plan ahead for City services.

Routine service requests submitted during the closure will be reviewed after offices reopen on January 4. For urgent issues, use the contacts below.

Inspections
To request an inspection before the closure, please submit your request by Tuesday, December 15th.

Planning & Building
Please note that the City’s online permitting portal will close on December 23, 2026. Any projects received after December 23, 2026, will be processed starting January 4, 2027.

Parks & Recreation
All City parks will remain open during the holiday closure.

Facility rentals, picnic shelter reservations, and field use permits will be unavailable December 24, 25, and 31, 2026, and January 1, 2027.
Requests for rentals, reservations, and field use during the closure must be submitted by confirm Monday, December 14, 2026.
Registration for recreation programs, activities, and classes will remain available online.
