The Political Reform Act (Gov. Code §§ 81000-91014) requires detailed disclosure of the role of money in California politics. This includes the disclosure of contributions and expenditures in connection with campaigns supporting or opposing local candidates and ballot measures.
Campaign disclosure filings are public documents. Any member of the public may inspect and obtain a copy of any statement.

The Public Access Portal contains financial information provided by candidates and committees. It can answer questions about who is contributing money, who is receiving money and how it is being spent.
Use the Public Access Portal to research campaign contributions and expenditures, review campaign statements filed by candidates and committees.
Campaign disclosure forms filed online beginning in 2020 are available through the portal. Staff is currently working to include past year filings.
You can view unredacted forms and forms that were not electronically filed, including those filed prior to 2020, by emailing us at: email@example.com or visiting the City Clerk's office during normal business hours.
Filer Access Portal
Use the Filer Access Portal to create electronic campaign statements. Before you begin you must have received your Electronic Filing System filer identification number and password. To get a filer identification number and password for your committee, contact the Office of the City Clerk at firstname.lastname@example.org or (619) 258-4100.
