The City of Santee Planning and Building Department provides information on housing services such as the essential housing and fair housing programs. Additionally, the City has information on building additional housing structures such as accessory dwelling units and ordinances for mobile homes.

NOTICE: Affordable Housing Funding Opportunity

Attention affordable housing developers, nonprofit housing organizations and development partners!

The County of San Diego is accepting applications for funding to acquire, construct or rehabilitate multifamily affordable housing. Applicants must meet the eligibility and project requirements outlined in the funding notice.

Application deadline: November 19, 2026, at 2 p.m. PST
