Vice Mayor Ronn Hall
Ronn Hall was elected to the City Council in November 2014, re-elected in 2018, and ran unopposed in 2022. He is a native of San Diego County and a long-time licensed insurance agent, notary public, and have proudly owned and operated Ronn Hall Insurance and Notary Services for more than over 39 years.
He and his wife, Virginia, live in Northeast Santee. She’s a longtime Santee resident, retired Registered Nurse, and a Realtor. She is an elected to the Board of the Grossmont Healthcare District in 2016 and ran unopposed in 2020 and 2024. They both live and work in Santee and attend Shadow Mountain Community Church.
Prior to starting his own insurance business, Ronn was a store manager for a local drug store chain. Ronn's business has won awards and has been recognized by the Santee Chamber of Commerce as a former Santee Business of the Year. “
As a Santee business owner, former Chamber of Commerce President, Rotarian, Community Volunteer, and Current Council Member Ronn embraces and encourages the philosophy of “Live, Work, Shop, and Play in Santee.” While on the chamber, He collaborated with fellow community leaders to help launch the Santee Street Fair, which grew into one of the largest community events in San Diego.
Ronn is committed to helping promote business both as a business leader and a Councilmember. He and Virginia helped by volunteering their time with organizations in Santee as well as supporting local Santee businesses and causes. They have previously worked with Santee community groups, including Santee-Lakeside Rotary, and Santee Santas, and others. His personal goal is to bring Rotary’s official motto “Service Above Self” to his work at the Santee City Council.
