Join us on Saturday, February 28, from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM for a day dedicated to all things dogs! Enjoy agility courses, costume contests, pet-focused vendors, live entertainment, and maybe even meet a new furry friend to take home. Fido Fest has it all, don’t miss out on the paw-some fun!
Doggy Agility Courses: Watch pups of all sizes show off their skills and agility.
Pet Costume Contest: Dress your furry friend in their finest for a chance to win fabulous prizes.
Adoption Alley: Meet adorable dogs from more than 20 local shelters looking for their forever homes.
Vendor Village: Explore pet-friendly products, services, and tasty treats from local vendors
Live Entertainment: Arts & crafts and demonstrations throughout the day. Stay tuned to learn about what demonstrations will be happening!
Dog Wellness Zone: Pet licensing, free microchipping, and tips from veterinarians and pet health experts.
Donation Drive: Bring unopened dog food, bedding, blankets, new toys and other items that will get donated to the rescues who participate in the event. Donors will be entered into an opportunity drawing.

For a Fur-Tastic Time:
- Dogs attending must be social and friendly with other dogs and people.
- Dogs attending must be comfortable in crowds.
- Dogs who display aggressive behavior, as determined by the City of Santee volunteers or staff, will be asked to leave.
- Dogs must be up to date on vaccinations. This means puppies must be over 4 months old and have completed their full set of puppy vaccinations, including rabies.
- All dogs must be kept on a leash, no longer than 6 feet, at all times. Non-retractable leashes are strongly recommended.
- Dogs must be ready to have a good time, exhibited by lots of tail wagging!
