Community Oriented Policing Committee
COMPOC
Established August 14, 1996 by the Santee City Council, the purpose of the Committee is to make recommendations regarding the City's Community Oriented Policing program. These may include recommendations regarding crime prevention, drug awareness, education programs, neighborhood watch programs, law enforcement staffing and other issues regarding the City's overall policing effort. The committee recommendations are forwarded to the Council for final action.
